私が作品で扱うのは、神話や音楽、宇宙観、数学、思想といった個別の主題ではない。

人類が世界を理解しようとして積み重ねてきた「知の軌跡」そのものである。

これらは異なる分野ではなく、世界を読み解こうとしてきた一つの営みの異なる表れだと私は考えている。

私の作品は、光学構造を用いて、その知の積層を俯瞰するための視点を立ち上げようとする試みである。作品を覗くという行為は内部を見るためではなく、鑑賞者自身が知の道のりをたどり、世界の見方を問い直すための体験である。

光学像の美しさは目的ではなく、その体験へ導く入口にすぎない。

作品には、金属片や役目を終えた素材、焼きむらや酸化、煤など、時間や熱が刻んだ痕跡も残している。一見混沌とした要素は、光学構造の中で新たな関係を結び、一つの秩序を生み出す。私はそこに、人類の歴史や宇宙の構造との共通性を見る。

世界は純粋な美だけでは成り立たない。混沌や矛盾、時間の痕跡を含みながら一つの全体として存在している。

私の作品は、その構造を光学体験として提示し、鑑賞者を人類が積み重ねてきた知の世界へと導くことを目指している。

My work is not about mythology, music, cosmology, mathematics, or philosophy as individual subjects. Rather, it explores the accumulated ways through which humanity has sought to understand the world. I see these not as separate disciplines, but as different expressions of a single, continuous human endeavor to make sense of existence.

Through optical structures, I seek to create a perspective from which these layers of accumulated thought can be contemplated. Looking into the work is not simply an act of observing its interior; it is an invitation for viewers to retrace humanity's intellectual journey and to reconsider their own ways of seeing the world. The optical image is not an end in itself, but a point of entry into that experience.

My works incorporate metal fragments, discarded materials, and surfaces marked by oxidation, soot, heat, and time. Rather than concealing these traces, I preserve them as records of transformation. Within the optical structure, these seemingly chaotic elements establish new relationships and generate an underlying order. In this process, I perceive parallels with the structures of human history and the universe itself.

The world is not sustained by pure beauty alone. It exists through the coexistence of order and disorder, contradiction and continuity, chance and time. My work seeks to embody this condition through optical experience, inviting viewers to reflect on the layered structures of knowledge through which humanity has continually sought to understand the world.
